How to Apply for a U.S. Visa
Pay application fee. With rare exceptions, every applicant, including children, must pay a non-refundable USD 140 application fee in RINGGIT equivalent (RM 480) for B1/B2 and F, M or J Visas, USD 150 application fee in RINGGIT equivalent (RM510) for H,L,O,P,Q and R Visas, USD390 for E Visa and VFS's service fee RM 32 at Alliance Bank. Carry a photocopy of your current passport (first and the last page) for procuring a payment receipt.
Obtain a photo that can be uploaded and meets form specifications. Access the
form DS-160. Complete your DS-160 application online. Save often to your
desktop! Answer questions as thoroughly as possible before submitting, as
incomplete forms may not be accepted. Print the DS-160 barcode confirmation
sheet at the end of the DS-160 application on a laser printer. After you have
printed it, email the confirmation page to yourself so you have a backup copy.
The file is a PDF file, so you will need Adobe Acrobat on your computer to open
it.
Important Note: it will take one working day for your fee receipt to be
processed. Then you may proceed to step 2
Return to this website and click on Apply for a
Non-immigrant Visa link after the fees have
been paid. You will need to use your passport number and receipt's
purchase date from your Alliance Bank Fee Receipt to schedule an appointment.

Report to the U.S. Embassy on the
date and time of your visa interview. You will need to bring your printed
Appointment Letter, CEAC Confirmation Page Copy , one
recent photograph (taken LESS than 6 months ago),
current and all old passports and the original Alliance Bank fee receipt.
Applications without all of the above and the original Alliance Bank fee
receipt or with an incorrect photograph will NOT be accepted.
